UK Care Week stands as a pivotal moment for Care Campaign for the Vulnerable (CCFTV), providing an essential platform to engage in transformative dialogues and advocate for significant strides in the care sector. Led by CCFTV’s Director Jayne Connery, our involvement in panel discussions, notably focusing on the adoption of choice-based independent monitoring systems, underscores our steadfast commitment to fostering transparency and accountability within care environments.

Throughout these discussions, CCFTV has shed light on the positive influence of innovative solutions such as independent safety systems, promoting a culture of openness and continual enhancement within care services. We were delighted to be joined by Paul Farmer, Operations Director at Care Protect and CEO Kay Cox of Signature Senior Living who offered an invaluable insight after a collaboration with CCFTV on their implementation of care safety monitoring across their dementia care communities after a successful pilot with Care Protect systems. Our dedication to supporting families and care staff mirrors our holistic approach to addressing the multifaceted challenges encountered in the sector.

Jayne Connery's role as moderator in a second-panel discussion on the concluding day of UK Care Week, centred on Proactive Strategies for Effective Safeguarding in Care, further underscores CCFTV's unwavering commitment to amplifying the voices of vulnerable individuals and propelling forward innovative tactics to fortify their protection.
