Director and Founder of CCFTV, Jayne Connery

"I am deeply honoured to share our journey and milestones leading up to our headline sponsorship at the prestigious Leaders in Care Conference this May. From humble beginnings, set up in a box bedroom while caring for my mother, CCFTV has evolved into a passionate endeavour dedicated to advocating for the vulnerable in care. Since 2016, our efforts have garnered significant momentum, propelled by tireless commitment and a steadfast dedication to understanding and influencing the care sector.

From the early days of organising modest monthly meetings, supporting families and care staff, collaborating with care industry leaders, MP’s and diligently networking, to now headlining as official sponsors and continuing to lead influential panel discussions on topics such as independent monitoring in dementia care, our journey has been transformative. However, I must acknowledge that this journey would not have been possible without the invaluable support, mentorship and guidance of Care Protect, along with the countless individuals who have contributed to our cause along the way.

While I have personally experienced the challenges and complexities of caring as a daughter, I am continually inspired by the unwavering dedication and integrity displayed by those who work tirelessly within the care sector. Our collective efforts are driven by a profound sense of purpose, rooted in the belief that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and that care staff should work without fear of unfounded allegations, and lack of protection in their place of work.

As we reflect on our accomplishments and prepare for the upcoming conference, I am humbled by the impact of our work. While the journey may seem daunting at times, I am reminded of the profound difference we are making day by day, week by week, and month by month. It is with great anticipation and enthusiasm that we look forward to leading and participating in the Leaders in Care Conference, where we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to listen, learn, and collaborate with fellow industry professionals.

We thank everyone for their continued support and dedication to our shared mission of advocating for the vulnerable in our society. Together, we can create meaningful change and ensure a safer care sector for everyone.” Jayne Connery, Director of CCFTV.
