Care Campaign for the Vulnerable was delighted to welcome some of our members today at our first network meeting since the start of Coronavirus held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Gerrard's Cross Buckinghamshire.
First on the agenda was the Coronavirus pandemic and the challenges faced within the sector as well as the work CCFTV is doing supporting families and staff that contact us affected by the Coronavirus and issues with loved ones' care delivery. It was noted that we have had a significant increase in correspondence from care workers reporting concerns and wilful neglect in their place of work.
“I am delighted to attend our first face to face meeting today of course adhering to social distancing. It was good to get back to the CCFTV team. It’s been six months since our last meeting and we are delighted to be back supporting Care Campaign for the Vulnerable''. Andrew Geach CEO Shedfield Lodge
The Coronavirus pandemic is bringing many changes to the care sector and it was really important to chat over the many concerns staff and families are facing in care homes that are told to us. Care Campaign for the Vulnerable was thrilled to return back to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Gerrard's Cross Buckinghamshire. We thank the staff and management for their support and hospitality.
