Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is learning of the pressures faced by conscientious led Care Providers striving to offer a caring and safe environment to both service users and staff. Safety monitoring is proving to be a invaluable care assist tool - bringing a more open and transparent culture into care homes as well as saving valuable resources within the care home sector and the NHS
Our Wingwalk raised over £3,000 for Alzheimers UK BRACE
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is working hard to highlight the issues surrounding lack of transparency in care and is calling along with their strong army of supporters for safety monitoring to be installed in every public area in UK care homes. Our Government petition has so far attracted more than 12,500 signatures.
The daring wing walk took place on April 28th at Aerosuperbatics, Gloucestershire. Jayne was secured to a 1940s, 450 horsepower Boeing Stearman biplane. She said before her daredevil challenge ''CCFTV are proud to support BRACE. Having personal experience with a loved one living with dementia and now supporting many families, I know just how difficult it is. CCFTV understands our dedicated care workers need supporting too. This challenge wouldn't be possible without Care Protect and their support to our work is so appreciated. We are delighted to raise such a significant amount for this wonderful charity.''
Managing Director Ben Wilson, Care Protect said: “CCFTV is doing a great job leading the way highlighting the negative issues which surround the care sector. These issues need to be aired and debated. Raising money to support research into dementia is also vitally important and we were pleased to make a financial contribution to enable this adventure to take place.”
''It’s so important we not only raise money for the brilliant charities like BRACE that support and look for a cure for dementia but also organisations like CCFTV that highlight important issues going on within the care sector.” Ben Wilson Care Protect
