Care Campaign for the Vulnerable invited into care homes with safety monitoring

27th April 2017

Freckleton Lodge Care Home contacted Care Campaign to tell us they support the important work we do and they already have safety monitoring in all communal areas.

Jayne Connery Founder of Care Campaign is delighted to be asked into many care/nursing homes who already have safety monitorimg installed and offer a show of support to the work we are doing helping make safety monitoring mandatory in public areas of all care and nursing homes in the UK.

Jayne said ''Care facilities who have safety monioring proves if individual care providers can bring transparency into their homes, then ALL care homes can. Those Care Service Providers who choose to place the safeguarding of residents and staff at the top of their agenda and bring peace of mind to families, should be made a great example of and we always enjoy visiting these homes and see how transpareny is such a positive when in a environment housing vulnerable residents and their carers.''

British Actress Aimi Macdonald is Care Campaign for the Vulnerable Ambassador - raising public awareness for better, safer, transparent care within the care sector.

I am delighted to be invited as a Ambassador to assist in this wonderful campaign instigated by Jayne Connery regarding CCTV security in care homes throughout the UK. This, I feel, will benefit carers, staff, residents and their families in the event of any dispute. As a relative of someone suffering with Alzheimers disease I have been involved with care homes over the last ten years and I feel the knowledge I have can contribute to this very important initiative
