 Care Campaign For The Vulnerable

Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is learning of the pressures faced by conscientious led Care Providers striving to offer a caring and safe environment to both service users and staff. Safety monitoring is proving to be a invaluable care assist tool - bringing a more open and transparent culture into care homes as well as saving valuable resources within the care home sector and the NHS

News

Families distraught Downing St was reported to have held Xmas party last year.

8th December 2021

CCFTV offers support to families that contact us saying they are still unable to visit loved ones in care homes because of the restrictions and denied the right to be with elderly relatives as they died alone.

Hearing the news the PM allegedly held a Christmas party last year at Downing Street while the rest of us were ordered to “do the right thing “ families and carers say this is nothing more than a ''slap in the face.''

`Families are telling CCFTV our PM seems to be "above the law, sliding away unscathed while escaping the wrath of the angry public". But many messages coming into CCFTV are telling us you can’t have a Prime Minister forcing Carers to vaccinate or they will lose their jobs, guiding care homes on visits (albeit badly ) and tell a nation to be responsible and go and get jabbed for the good of the vulnerable British people and then go behind close doors at No10 follow their own rules, permitting themselves freedom by organising a 'jolly.'

Our elderly, many living in care homes have been denied the right to even step outside their care homes for some fresh air, visit family members or the right to hug and kiss family members. This reeks of a blatant disregard for the absolute commitment shown by the majority of British people during the Covid pandemic now being made a mockery of.

Diane Reeves died alone when her daughter Sharon was told due to Covid regulations she couldn't be with her mum to hold her hand.

Sharon Chalk who CCFTV supported during the Covid pandemic and lost her mum to Covid.

“It’s heartbreaking to hear this. I lost my precious mum and I couldn’t go and hold her hand while she died from Covid and yet we see a Downing Street spokeswoman laughing at a 'fake' press conference about not socially distancing at an alleged party held at 10 Downing Street last Christmas.

This is unforgivable behaviour and also irresponsible, showing absolutely no respect at all to the thousands of families that lost loved ones in care and the community from Covid as well as the dedication showed by care staff now being told they will lose their job if they don’t have the vaccine. It makes a mockery now of this government advising us to do anything. It’s nothing more than a slap in the face to every one of us who lost someone through Covid.'
