Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is learning of the pressures faced by conscientious led Care Providers striving to offer a caring and safe environment to both service users and staff. Safety monitoring is proving to be a invaluable care assist tool - bringing a more open and transparent culture into care homes as well as saving valuable resources within the care home sector and the NHS

Care Campaign for the Vulnerable featured on Sky News on Thursday 20th January 2022 speaking out on why the Government needs to get “a real grip” on the challenges within the care sector that is seeing our most vulnerable elderly lacking quality care and care staff left unsupported and exhausted.
CCFTV is contacted by families saying the care sector is once again “left in limbo “ since the lifting of the Covid Plan B restrictions. Some say they are left to worry that elderly loved ones living in care homes will be put at risk. The care sector is lacking any clear directive from the Government once again and families say this will see care providers follow their own “guidance”.
CCFTV is currently supporting a number of families bringing elderly loved ones back home to be cared for in the community.
Our Director spoke on why the government during Covid has failed to prioritise our most vulnerable people living in care homes and care staff which hopefully the forthcoming public inquiry will bring much-needed answers to.
CCFTV received many responses to the interview, supporter John Hainsworth wrote, “My family just saw CCFTV speaking up for the vulnerable elderly on Sky News and wanted to say well done and thank you for setting up your elderly in care organisation. `My wife is aged 62 years old and has been in a nursing home for six years. I am aware of some of the issues facing many care homes that appear to be down to short of staff, funding and lack of Government support and CCFTV represented some of these issues. So well done.''
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable will continue to raise these important issues happening within social care and the lack of support during the Covid pandemic that is seeing vulnerable elderly not afforded the care owned to them and carers reporting to us they have lost a job they loved because of mandatory vaccinations.
"The evidence from Providers who have installed CCTV seems to me to merit careful attention and to be quite persuasive"
