Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is learning of the pressures faced by conscientious led Care Providers striving to offer a caring and safe environment to both service users and staff. Safety monitoring is proving to be a invaluable care assist tool - bringing a more open and transparent culture into care homes as well as saving valuable resources within the care home sector and the NHS
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable Director Jayne Connery raised over £3,000 abseiling the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth on Sunday 23rd April for the charity BRACE - Dementia Research.
Jayne completed her fifth abseil and scaled the 500ft tower and is delighted to confirm she has now reached over in total of £10,000 for dementia charities. "After being personally affected when a loved one was diagnosed with dementia BRACE is a charity so close to my heart and I am committed to raising more important funds for BRACE.
“BRACE - Dementia Research is a brilliant charity that works so hard to help find a cure for dementia. Dementia charities are struggling, so I am delighted to have met the target of £3,000 and would like to thank Nikola Scanlon from BRACE who came to support me".
A big thank you goes to everyone who generously donated including Care Protect Ltd who sponsored Jayne’s spinnaker abseil donating a very generous £2,000 and the Upton family, previously supported by CCFTV, who donated a generous £300 after their mother sadly passed away and instead of flowers asked people to give money to Jayne's abseil.
A BRACE-Alzheimer’s Research spokesperson said "As a small charity that funds dementia research we are so grateful that Jayne has taken to the skies for the third time in recent years to raise much-needed funds for dementia research. Jayne is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to supporting people living with dementia, we are so fortunate to have her support with dementia research as well. A real star.”
Your kind donation will help CCFTV support even more families in care.
