Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is learning of the pressures faced by conscientious led Care Providers striving to offer a caring and safe environment to both service users and staff. Safety monitoring is proving to be a invaluable care assist tool - bringing a more open and transparent culture into care homes as well as saving valuable resources within the care home sector and the NHS
CCFTV appreciates the insightful webinar at UK Care Week this morning, discussing the National Care Awareness Survey and featuring valuable contributions from, NICE - National Institute for Health and Care Excellence National Care Forum and National Care Association. It's evident that the care sector is doing commendable work, yet remains undervalued and unsupported. I'm heartened by the efforts towards positive changes, and CCFTV extends gratitude to UK Care Week for promoting collaboration and awareness.
We are thrilled that CCFTV’s partnership with UK Care Week for the third year reflects a shared commitment to improving the care landscape. The growing consensus on mandating independent safety monitoring in care homes, as indicated by 83.7 % of respondents, aligns with the efforts of CCFTV. Over a decade of dedicated work is now yielding benefits, with more providers recognising the importance of collaboration.
…but we’ve still got much more work to do….
Special thanks to the hardworking team at UK Care Week for their diligent efforts behind the scenes. Their commitment to showcasing positive developments in the care sector is truly appreciated, and we are extremely grateful for their contributions #ukcareweek #care #safetymonitoring #progess
