CCFTV Director continues to raise funds for BRACE - Dementia Research

11th February 2024

Jayne Connery, Director of CCFTV, abseiling the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, raising funds for BRACE - Dementia Research

Jayne Connery, Director at Care Campaign for the Vulnerable, has been tirelessly fundraising for BRACE Dementia research. Her efforts include participating in challenging events such as abseiling the Arcemittal in London, the National Lift Tower in Northampton, the BAi360 in Brighton, and various Alzheimer's walks as well as a daring Wing Walk. Through her dedication, Jayne has raised over £10,000 and continues to seek to raise more in memory of her mother Ellen.

BRACE Dementia research focuses on advancing scientific understanding and finding treatments for dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. Their work encompasses funding research projects aimed at identifying causes, improving diagnosis, and developing potential therapies for dementia-related conditions. This research is crucial as dementia poses significant challenges globally, affecting millions of individuals and their families.

Raising money for BRACE Dementia research is essential because it enables the organisation to continue funding groundbreaking research initiatives. By supporting this charity we can all contribute to the collective effort to combat dementia, offering hope for improved prevention, diagnosis, and treatment options in the future. Additionally, raising awareness about dementia and the importance of research funding helps reduce stigma and promotes understanding and support for those affected by the condition.
