Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is learning of the pressures faced by conscientious led Care Providers striving to offer a caring and safe environment to both service users and staff. Safety monitoring is proving to be a invaluable care assist tool - bringing a more open and transparent culture into care homes as well as saving valuable resources within the care home sector and the NHS
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable supporter Paula Davey’s father is in a care home and has the first-hand experience of the struggles of caring for a loved one with dementia. Paula has penned her thoughts on to a booklet - people can purchase with some of the proceeds going to CCTV Care Campaign for the Vulnerable. Paula says "Dementia Feelings is my personal thoughts as my dad goes through the dementia journey. There will be smiles and maybe a few tears shed. Some of my old and new memories of us I have shared along the way.’’
Paula added ‘’ Hopefully this booklet of twenty pages with added personal photos will help many others with how they feel and cope with a loved one living with dementia, as well as raising awareness on the condition. Each book sale I will donate to this campaign which I fully support.’’
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable Founder Jayne Connery is overwhelmed. She said‘ Paula has supported CCFTV since day one and keeps us up to date with how her father is in the care sector. Paula's support is incredible and her dedication and charity work is tireless. I have every confidence her booklet will do very well’’
