Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is learning of the pressures faced by conscientious led Care Providers striving to offer a caring and safe environment to both service users and staff. Safety monitoring is proving to be a invaluable care assist tool - bringing a more open and transparent culture into care homes as well as saving valuable resources within the care home sector and the NHS
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable reported a month ago telling of a elderly resident named ‘Nana White’ who suffered catastrophic injuries in her assisted living residence. It received over one and a half MILLION views and thousands of messages of support. Everyone was appalled by her injuries. Her loving family distressed and in turmoil bravely spoke out on the treatment they believed she received from her Care agency.
Since Nana Whites injuries were made public , Jayne Connery Founder , has been in weekly contact with her granddaughter checking on Nana Whites progress and we are delighted to report Nana White is out of hospital and placed in a new care facility and doing really well. The family were very grateful to everyone who sent supportive messages and they wanted to share her recovery with us.
The family are still in dispute with various agencies and attending meetings and we will update you all with the eventual outcome. We are sure in the meantime, everyone, including us here at Care Campaign for the Vulnerable will want to wish Nana White and her lovely family a wonderful and happy 2018!
"The evidence from Providers who have installed CCTV seems to me to merit careful attention and to be quite persuasive"
