CARE CAMPAIGN FOR THE VULNERABLE INVITED IN TO MEET RESIDENTS AND STAFF AT CAMBRIDGE MANOR CARE HOME TO DISCUSS SAFETY MONITORING IN CARE
Care Campaign Founder Jayne Connery has never made it a secret the best part of the job is receiving invites into care homes and chatting to residents and staff regarding transparency in care. Cambridge Manor Care Home welcomed Jayne Connery to meet staff and residents. James Chandler Community and Devopement Manager and Sue Nicolson Sales and Marketing Manager showed Jayne around the impressive 80 bed care /nursing home discussing in length many challenges staff and families face in the care home sector.
''CCFTV is always delighted when care providers ask us in to chat about the positives of safety monitoring in care homes and the pressures that many care homes face on a day to day basis and by talking about CCTV in care homes we can help bring in solutions to ensure accidents, both non preventable and preventable can be be picked up, viewed and relayed back to family and carers and then solutions put in place to hopefully not happen again. Safety monitoring is also a imporant training tool for care workers and can be used if a allegation is reported by a service user. Future risks are minimised to both vulnerable residents and staff.'' Care Campaign for the Vulnerable Director Jayne Connery
Here at CCFTV we influence the sector to adopt safety monitoring in all communal areas in care and nursing homes. Accidents and preventable incidents do unfortunately happen in the care of vulnerable elderly. Families that contacat us say they just want answers how and why these incidents happen. Safety monitoring is for everyone and carers are telling us they are very positive about working with safety monitoring in communal areas. I was overwhelmed with the response from Cambridge Manor staff - they seem committed and dedicated professionals. Care Campaign for the Vulnerable would like to thank James and his wonderful team for the support they have shown us and for welcoming in CCFTV to Cambridge Manor Care Home.
Your kind donation will help CCFTV support even more families in care.
