Care Campaign for the Vulnerable will be holding a very special informal coffee afternoon at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Gerrards Cross Buckinghamshire on Monday 26th March 2018 to proudly announce the support of Terry Eccott. Terry is the former Deputy Mayor of Alton in Hamphire, recently diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and is now a profilic dementia campaigner and Alzheimer's Society Ambassador.
Terry contacted Care Campaign for the Vulnerable a few months ago congratulating our work and wanting to learn more about what we do as champions of safety monitoring to be made mandatory in all dementia/care homes and through the success of Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is now contacted by families and care workers reporting concerns.
We are delighted to gain the public support of Terry Eccott . Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is thrilled. We are achieving so much both publicly and behind the scenes. We work tirelessly supporting families who tell us they have exhausted all avenues and are unsure who to turn to next. Having Terry's support is such an honour as living with dementia himself he tirelessly campaigns for better care and understanding to those who live with this condition Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is so honoured to have him on board and offering his support to the important work we do.
The afternoon event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Jewel Suite, at Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire on Monday 26th March 2018 - starting at 2 pm- 4 pm.
