CARE CAMPAIGN FOR THE VULNERABLE IS INVITED BY ANDREA SUTCLIFEE CBE, CHIEF INSPECTOR OF ADULT SOCIAL CARE CQC TO A ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSING TECHNOLOGY IN CARE
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable has accepted an invitation to attend the Roundtable on Technology in Care by CQC’s Head of Adult Social Care Andrea Sutcliffe CBE
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable champion's and promotes safety monitoring to be made mandatory in all public areas of care and nursing homes. Up for discussion will be how the use of technology in care has developed since the publication of ‘Using Surveillance’ (information for providers of health and social care on using surveillance to monitor services). Including discussing how technology impacts the work CQC is doing now and what CQC will need to do in the future around and explore different views from across the sector.
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is delighted to be asked to attend such a important and informative event by Andrea Sutcliffe CBE. Care Campaign for the Vulnerable and our supporters are passionate regarding the use of safety monitoring in care homes and in home care. It is so important to be there to represent the thousands of families and carers who tell us why safety monitoring is a important tool in the delivery of safer care. CCFTV is eager to represent our supporters that contact us having seen first hand how monitoring technology can bring many answers as well as help in the delivery of excellent care to our most vulnerable and care staff across the sector.’’
The event will be held on 2nd May 2018 at a soon to be announced location.
