CARE CAMPAIGN FOR THE VULNERABLE WILL BE AT THE PYLMOUTH INTERNATIONAL DEMENTIA CONFERENCE
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is delighted to have been asked to attend Plymouth’s International Dementia Conference on the 4th May 2018. https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/research/voyage/plymouth-dementia-conference. Founder Jayne Connery will be giving a speech on the important work we do including championing safety monitoring in public areas of all care homes to be made mandatory.
This innovative and unique conference brings together inspirational speakers from across the globe to present their creative projects. These projects have the potential to open new ways of working and developing innovative ways to support people with dementia and their carers. There is widespread recognition at the highest level of all governments around the world about the present and future impacts of dementia. The search for ways to enhance the quality of life for those affected is a constant and complex one.
The aim of the conference is to share ideas and thoughts on dementia care and research which have the potential to open up new ways of developing fresh perspectives and ground breaking solutions that help overcome the challenges faced by people with dementia and carers every day in their lives. We are thrilled to be able to attend this conference and to be asked to speak about the very important work we undertake at Care Campaign for the Vulnerable. We champion safety monitoring in all care homes and helping safeguard our vulnerable elderly and carers. Having this opportunity to address such a important and prolific conference will be a huge boost. CCFTV would like to thank our Ambassador Terry Eccott for his support.
