Jayne Connery, Founder of Care Campaign for the Vulnerable was delighted to receive an invitation to join a select few at the Hampshire Care Association Roundtable at the Winchester Hotel today 20th June 2018. Attending the Roundtable Using Digital Care To Provide Better Outcomes For Service Users held at the Winchester Hotel, were Mark Allen, Head of Strategic Commissioning Hampshire County Council who also chaired the meeting, Speakers were Jonathan Papworth Co-Founder and Director of Person Centred Software. Keith Stratham, Social Worker and Principle Implementation and Business Change Manager, NHS Digital Social Care Programme, Andrew Geach Proprietor of Shedfield Lodge Care Home and Robin Hall, Hampshire Care Association.
Participants to the event were Samir Patal Hampshire Care Association, Robin Hall, Hampshire Care Association, Councillor Warwick Payne Cabinet Minister for Housing and Adult Social Care, Southampton County Council.
Jayne was particularly interested in what Andrew Geach from Shedfield Lodge care home had to report regarding his home already having safety monitoring in communal areas and how this brings in transparency and peace of mind to both service provider and family members. Jayne said ''Andrew's passion particularly impressed me. Shedfield Lodge has safety monitoring in all the care homes communal areas and Andrew is determined he wouldn't be without it. To me, this says a lot about the dedication and transparency in care delivery at Shedfield Lodge''.
