The Home of Comfort Nursing Home at Southsea. A charitable nursing home founded in 1896
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable Founder Jayne Connery has been invited to visit The Home of Comfort Nursing Home in Southsea on Thursday 28th August 2018. Jayne met Administration Manager Robin Hall at the Hampshire Care Association Private Rountable in Winchester. Jayne said ' Safety monitoring in care homes is a initiative Care Campaign champions and supports and we are lobbying the Government in making it mandatory across the sector. Talking to Care Providers as well as families and carers we firmly believe Care Providers can benefit hugely in the day to day running of their care homes. It was interesting to hear Robin's thoughts on how her nursing home is without safety technology and I am so thrilled to have been contacted by her and asked to pay the home a visit. On behalf of Care Campaign for the Vulnerable I am very much looking forward to it and look forward to discussing the many positives safety monitoring can have on the day to day running of care homes which can benefit the whole of the sector.''

"The evidence from Providers who have installed CCTV seems to me to merit careful attention and to be quite persuasive"
