CEO of Horizon Care Homes Laura Higginbottom has invited Care Campaign for the Vulnerable to visit one of their care facilities to discuss safety monitoring in care. Laura, who contacted us told of her ‘full support ‘ to CCFTV work after she set up Horizon Care when her own grandmother was failed in a residential care setting. Horizon Care have care homes in Worksop, Sheffield, Rotherham and Wakefield. Laura told Care Campaign for the Vulnerable ‘’ We see monitoring in care as a really important safety measure but we could do with some help with persuading Local Authorities this isn’t overly restrictive practice''.
